Kue is classic traditional Indonesian cake, its bite-size sweet/savory snack or dessert food that’s popular in Indonesia and on the other hand traditional Indonesian kue also demonstrated local native delicacies. The fact, the diversity of traditional cake (Jajan Pasar) in Indonesia is very rich, they are more often steamed than bake and are thus very different in texture, flavour and appearances.  Since not many people are interested of making traditional cake (kue) at home and knowing the common classic reason that making traditional cake is quite tedious to do it on your own.   As the lifestyle has totally changed, nowadays everyone demand anything easy when it comes for the snacks, but not me! In the case to find a joy for the simple cooking and baking, I actually prefer the quick and easy, such roasting the very basic vegetables to be a nibble whenever needed. Since my son starts schooling, I need to create anything simple, not to say that I fetching less patience but the fact I tell you the truth, I am just human being and not a super woman, anything simple, quick and tasty, oh I would always go for it! :) I am not all about complaining after realized that I find out my day seems moving too quick and it isn’t fair if I wish a day to have 48hrs. Sweet Coconut Glutinous Rice Ball ( Len Olen ) is traditional cakes/snack originally from Madura Island , Its an Indonesian island off the north eastern coast of Java which separated from Java by the narrow Strait of Madura . Coconut Pancakes Rolls (Dadar Gulung)

Coconut pancake rolls/Dadar gulung is Traditional Indonesian snack that genuinely well-liked to most people in Indonesia , especially in Java.  Dadar literally means “pancake” while Gulung means “rolls” (to roll), a  thin layer delicate pancake made of Pandan flavored batter and then filled with the sweet grated coconut.  The snacks are normally green color which comes from pandan leaves as it added as natural food coloring.
