Mie Ayam Recipe - Indonesian style chicken noodles

This is one of my favourite home cook recipe, "m ie ayam" Indonesian style chicken noodles  specifically of  Chinese Indonesian way of cooking (Chinese Indonesian style chicken noodles), and to recall the history is that Chinese Indonesians are ethnically Chinese people living in Indonesia, where on centuries ago, overseas Chinese migration thus Chinese Indonesian cuisine that  characterised  by the mixture of Chinese with local Indonesian style. To make the homemade version of this dish is very easy, and my recipe definitely easy to follow I learned this dish from my girlfriend who ever open the noodles house restaurant back in 2002.  She made her own fresh homemade noodles everyday and the egg noodles recipe  has been passed down  to the family through  generations . Initially, I was actually thinking of making kolak labu kuning flavour with jack fruit, like I ever posted here , but then I have changed my mind to make something which suitable for my 17 months sweetheart too, so the dessert do a simply satisfying guarantee to all of us. One of the most brilliant thing is when we find our favorite seasonal fruit all around, it take place and makes everyone happy, rushing and have fun. Nowadays, I really enjoy baking although it almost shaken my nervous every time I started, somehow it has been a new bliss to keep me inspired and motivated. My knowledge might be limited for baking as I believe that baking all about daring and engage some tricky method to discover a hidden delicacy. I keep telling my self not too worry when it come to make some afters which include oven to bake, it’s not a horror thing to do. It just needed some frequent practice to build a self-confident until really hang on to it and it is not that difficult if I have huge enthusiasm, there’s no impossible if you keep trying and believing that you can do it The fact that I have a long list of stuff to be bake hmmm… Well, this time I’ll go with double chocolate brownies issue, to me, brownie is one of seductive cake ever--simple and delicious. Pepes Tongkol

Among other Indonesian food this is one of my favourite “Pepes Tongkol” ( steamed-grilled spicy cob fish wrapped in banana leaves) I was extremely lucky when the first time I've got the recipe from my mom, listening over her explanations how to make a great Pepes Tongkol , it was truly exiting day In the first time making, it turned just fine, to be honest I didn’t quite satisfied with the result, the fact that my mom pepes tongkol was the best, no way I can beat her. After a view trial and more experiments until I find it as good as the one my mom made, perhaps its nearly close to a perfect one, I am very happy though... After a quite sometimes I finally manage to make acar, the preparations it self is just easy as turning your palm, but I must have to say that this stuff should always remain in my chiller, It’s a great to be a stand by complement   How would I enjoy a plateful of Mie Goreng (fried noodles ) without acar:)      Acar (pickles) is a way of preserving foods by using vinegar, seasons with salt and sugar, it sounds basic but its really shooting, the collaborations between the flavour and texture are on the button. Since we moved to Bali, I have been spoiled by the heavenly Indonesian food and for some reason I get hold of advantage to be pamper, feel comfort and just unwind my self --buying favourite food which available in every corner on the island, having culinary journey which is fun and testify the eating places which has been review in the news paper, oh…its obviously feels to live without burden. However, home cook food is always the best, it takes to the fantastic roller coaster, carry out some bright ideas, get through all the trial and error to achieve the quality of our skill, I have a huge admiration and interest in the cooking home cook food. Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls / Gỏi Cuốn

The quick and easy dish for the appetizer to me is Vietnamese fresh spring rolls (gỏi cuốn ) even the satisfying its pretty much content with plenty of healthiness. These lovable spring rolls actually loaded with super fresh and flavorful vegetables and herbs, I would say, let the photo do the justice ;) Placing a wide range of greens over the rice pepper sheet and do the rolling to a good looking wraps are the fun part, very entertaining! It decided to have a fancy of greens and herbs to my gỏi cuốn/ Vietnamese fresh spring rolls this time, because I realized that last week i cook too much seafood and meat stuff--to redeem the guilt, its just dead right if the choice fall into this one.
