As well as me as a mother, I would do everything for my baby to grow and develop eating healthy food. When I first watching Jose made in Spain * link here and Jamie food escapes on tv * link here , they were cooking different type of Andalucia Gazpacho recipe, as you might knowing gazpacho is a classic Spanish cold soup and of course it serves chilled .  They were inspired me to cook something fresh and delicious in the same time for my little darling as I convinced that my little man gonna like it and they are really my inspirations especially for my escape home-cook :) Since I have organic stuff sitting in my fridge such carrot, cucumber and tomato so my humble choice goes into gazpacho recipe the reason because it’s good to have such a fresh food without the heats gets involved. It is more to encouraging one to another, to be uniquely YOU, to be creative and to be who you are and the most important thing is that always being grateful to what you have. The truth to be told, It doesn’t matter what camera do you have in hand, its all about how you explore your genuine creativity, having fun with it and keep shooting.  At the end of the day, its not the equipment you have that counts, its the images you've made ~ Penny D...

Tahwa - silky tofu pudding

Image
What would you do if you are missing kind of early days memorable treat by the street vendor? Home cook it, yes exactly -- I have the same opinion. I was craving Tahwa few days back, but I would have to home-cooked it since I have no idea where to get one. Firstly I have no idea how the recipe is, forget the genuine version by the street vendor, even the recipe book I don’t own it so the only way is to game to try it out and put my efforts until to get it right. I found the recipe here in Indonesia language, how to make it from the scratch and here how to make homemade Tahwa using agar-agar. After reading and pictured the recipe, I come up with my own version, it might nearly close to the traditional tahwa. Of course it didn't go just one or two attempted, it was more than that and i consider the failure counts as hold-up succeed. Instead of using agar-agar I used gelatin powder to my Tahwa, the simple reason is that agar-agar doesn’t gives specific textur...

Image
Ubi madu Cilembu ( Cilembu honey sweet potato ) is a cultivar of sweet potato from a local race origin ( Cilembu-Sumedang of  West Java ). These particular sweet potatoes are popular among the consumers since 1990's. They have certain high economic value as a distinctive flavour, sweet like honey, sticky and velvety as an interesting structure that is favoured by agricultural businesses and consumers Ubi madu Cilembu is more exceptional than other kind of local sweet potato as it creates sort of honey alike, tacky and sweet and it smells sugary if it oven roasted,  therefore ubi Cilembu also called as honey sweet potato. In addition to it taste very sugary, the raw honey sweet potato flesh color is also quite interesting where the skin and flesh are in vibrant ivory and then it turns to flushed- yellow once they are roasted.   The honey sweet potatoes are not suitable for deep-fried, because the high sugar content make it easy to burn as wel...
