Deep fried stuffed tofu (Tahu isi) is a snack made from tofu stuffed with variants vegetables such cabbage, carrots and bean sprouts. Suprisingly, tempe was purportedly indentical with poverty in Indonesia but nowadays, it no longer underestimated. It has become popular and well-liked worldwide and it takes special place into culinary star in many countries. I am proud to be an Indonesian for having tempe among my daily-life that often cook them in various way, moreover it inexpensive food which are pack of nutrients. Tempe is my favorite food overall, a cake made from soybean and fermented, they are cheap and it taste just like meat. Reputedly to a story that I ever heard, some of them have regards Tempe only for poor people , the fact that they are wrong anyway. Tempe doesn’t deserve falsehood of rumour because Tempe is containing high protein.  By the way, there are always having words to described Tempe , a cake that has earthy smell, has succeed to amazed the world and of course it delicious. Lontong Lodeh Recipe (vegetables in coconut milk serve with rice cakes)

Sayur lodeh is belongs within Javanese people and has widen throughout Indonesia . Its coconut milk-based soup contained of variant vegetable and then stewed together, it would absolutely great to be serves either as starter as it i might serves in a small clay pot or main course along with lontong (rice cakes) or steam rice. I purposely made Sayur Lodeh as vegetarian style otherwise you may cooked instead of vegetarian style for your desire by adding such ribs, meat, chicken or eggs. I had gone through a moment which I count the Tempe as a precious food to consume, driving miles to get the most wanted one and as an Indonesian living abroad of course its a craved food which exotic to have...and I had gone through the worst either, after the long run, regretted knowing that I have finally found out those Tempe unfortunately all sold out and taken by nearby neighbourhood, it such having a very bad day :( however, at the end of the day I have been relived the missing of the home country popular food which mainly source of protein, extraordinary humble and practically down-to-earth to most Indonesia people.
