I warp up Soto Ayam (Classic Indonesian aromatic chicken soup) to be the beat of today posting.  I have finally made it uncovered after it just being a plan and writing it recipe for blog--on and on, in fact, this time it has been exposed and proudly inserted in my label. Last week we were going to "Dapur Pasundan" restaurant to have dinner (Dapur  is Kitchen and Pasundan is Sundanese), it was without a plan, our curiosity was because at every time we have passing by the place, there are always packed with people, having either lunch or dinner. For that reason we have been thought that it must be nice food, without further thinking we have just give it a try and decided on the feast that they might wonderfully have. I ordered a set of nasi timbel komplit (Typical Sundanese combo with companion of fluffier rice wrapped in banana leaves so that the aroma of wilted banana leaf gives fragrant to the rice) with compliment of sayur asem.  I immediately realized that has quite timed I did not make my sayur asem until I had the compliment on that night, it just good remainder as call to mind, then I listed my sayur asem afterwards before it forgotten.  There are few variation of sayur asem, the well-known refreshing vegetable dish...

I am getting to know about the common Indonesia dish called soto by a reading, soto is a traditional Indonesian aromatic soup. Knowing that there are several types of soto in Indonesia and each has a way of different presenting. The exclusive part is that every regions in Indonesia has its own type of soto soup with such satisfaction additional, for example soto ayam madura (chicken soto) its typically serve with rice vermicelli, boil egg and prawn cracker (kerupuk), while soto lamongan has additional of bean sprouts or it might has some shredded raw cabbage too as added , another one is the famous soto betawi is coconutty base soup, typically serve with emping melinjo (bitter yet delicious cracker) and fresh tomato and still many more varieties of Indonesian soto. Rawon Recipe -Traditional East-Java beef soup

Rawon is a traditional beef soup originally from Surabaya *capital city of east java province of Indonesia, its actually very rich, thick and deep-dark colour soup base because the used of keluak/keluwek nuts as natural coloring. The colour of the soup might makes you wonder or else it might triggered you off to have it, the fact to be honest it absolutely scrumptious. frankly , I would rather never be bothered to cook   rawon on my own which using my own concoction spices from scratch , of course it might quotes from beloved mother recipe , from cookbook or browse around the world web-net. I fancy buying a instant-homemade spice paste available on the market and cook it, as simple as that… and most importantly, I do not need to have an headache how to correctly picked of the keluak/keluwek nut which is the main ingredients to make rawon, it's absolutely pretty tricky to choose the right one :( I said instant-homemade rawon paste:) it is homemade...

Pumpkin Soup

I heart pumpkin so is my little man, at all times tempted when the seasons filled with the bright yellow with the sexy curve and appealing shape, it stunning ! The rich flavour after it cooked is incredible creamy somewhat goes well with the natural sweetness.
